    Aaniin, Boozhoo, Wachay Niigaan Followers! As you may have heard in the news, there is a debate on the problematic legislation; Bill C33 - the First Nations Control of First Nations Education Act (FNCFNEA). Last Friday, the Assembly of First Nations National Chief Shawn Atleo resigned due to this debate and pressures. There are many complex matters related to this Bill and issues with the legislation go much deeper than just Education. Niigaan: In Conversation invites you to a Teach-In to help community members make sense of what the debate is about, the problems with the FNCFNEA and provide a forum for discussion about what it means for our community here in Ottawa. This Teach-In is for anyone who wants to learn about and discuss solutions and alternatives to education.
