Cyndra MacDowall is a photographer and a writer. Since 1987 her work has been exhibited throughout North America and in the U.K. She has received numerous grants and awards from the Canada Council, Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, and others. Her work is included in important public collections, include that of the National Gallery of Canada.
