Until I was nineteen I lived just outside Greenbank, a small town in rural Ontario. I went to highschool in another small town, Port Perry. It wasn’t until I moved in 2010 to pursue my education in Ottawa that I finally experienced anything other than small town life. After I graduated from UOttawa I decided to stay in the city because of the opportunities, and connections I have made. I worked for a year and a half before deciding to go to Carleton for more education. In my work I focus on the translation of the mundane into the digital, and how that reflects subconscious anxieties.
