Canadian artist, Eliza Griffiths, centres her practice on an exploration of psychological, sexual, and interpersonal themes through the creation of invented characters in painting. Eliza Griffiths was born in London, England and immigrated to Ottawa in her early childhood. She graduated with a B.F.A from Concordia University and pursued her graduate studies in Art History at Carleton University. Griffiths is recognized nationally and internationally. She currently lives in Montreal and teaches at Concordia University.
